Notice x Wonder
The Q Brothers Collective is back with Notice X Wonder, a 10-track, 90s-inspired hip-hop album that marks a special milestone: the official rap debut of the newest member of the Q Brothers family, 12-year-old JJ Qaiyum (JJQ) — son of co-founder Jeffrey “JQ” Qaiyum — who went viral for his freestyle dinosaur rap at Austin City Limits.
Recorded by the full crew — JQ, GQ, JJQ, Jackson Doran, Postell Pringle, and Cage Pierre — the album blends old-school boom bap with the playful, family-friendly energy the Q Brothers are known for. Highlights include the New Orleans-flavored opener “Q Bros Bounce,” the nostalgia-packed “Powerful Potion” (loaded with 90s throwback references), and “Bother the Bee,” a track JJ calls his personal favorite about letting people be. JJ also gets his own spotlight on “Boom Bap Dad Rap.”
Notice X Wonder is a celebration of passing the torch — and the mic — to the next generation, all while keeping that classic hip-hop spirit alive.

Long Way Home, Uniting Voices Chicago’s first full-length album since 2018’s Harmony Anew and our first full-length concept album theatrical experience since 2006’s Sita Ram, is a captivating collaboration with the internationally acclaimed Q Brothers, who wrote and directed the show.
Originally staged in 2018 as a theatrical reimagination of Homer’s timeless epic, The Odyssey, this new full-cast recording makes the story of Ody—a young rapper from the struggling neighborhood of Ithaca who wants to share her voice with the world—available to listeners around the globe.
Set in modern day Chicago and incorporating the diverse sounds of the city, Long Way Home is a moving meditation on the power of music and a testament to the power of young people to bridge divisions and transform the world.
