GQ – Founder, Creative Director
GQ co-created, co-directed, and starred in the original productions of Othello: The Remix (Westside Theater off-Broadway NY Times Critic’s Pick / The Globe Theatre, London / Chicago Shakespeare Theater), Dress The Part (SFSTL), Q Gents (OSF/ISF), Q Brothers Christmas Carol (CST), and Funk It Up About Nothin’ (CST). G also co-wrote and starred in the Off Broadway smash hit The Bomb-itty of Errors. Along with his brother and the other Bomb-itty guys, G wrote and starred in a hip-hop/sketch comedy TV show, Scratch and Burn (MTV). G’s screen credits include the movies Drumline, Taxi, I Think I Love My Wife, What’s The Worst That Could Happen (w/ John Leguizamo), and Werner Herzog’s Rescue Dawn, among others. He wrote, directed and starred in the film Just Another Story (Showtime, Tribeca Film Fest), has had prominent roles in Chicago PD (NBC), Boston Public (Fox), Numbers (CBS), and co-starred in the one-hour drama Johnny Zero (Fox), and John Herzfeld’s pilot, S.I.S (Sony). G produces electronic music under the moniker Javid Music Party. He is a member of the Chicago-based comedic hip hop group known as The Rap Pack. Originally from Chicago, he received his BFA from the Experimental Theatre Wing of Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. @gqtheman

JQ – Creative Director, Musical Director
JQ co-created, co-directed, and starred in the original productions of Othello: The Remix (Westside Theater off-Broadway NY Times Critic’s Pick / The Globe Theatre, London / Chicago Shakespeare Theater), Q Gents (OSF/ISF), Q Brothers Christmas Carol (CST), and Funk It Up About Nothin’ (CST). He made his Off Broadway debut when he laid down the beats as DJ/Composer for The Bomb-itty of Errors. J co-wrote and starred in the hip-hop/sketch comedy TV show, “Scratch and Burn” for MTV. For his brother G’s film, Just Another Story (Showtime), he created the score and original soundtrack. J produced the solo hip-hop album “Foul Mouth Poet” under his moniker J.A.Q., and other albums including “Smashing” (The Grommits), “The Good Thief” (Postell), and “The Feel Good Album Of The Year” (Q Brothers). He is also currently co-host (with oldest brother TQ) of Smallflower TV, a video blog about natural products and old-school shaving based on Merz Apothecary, the other family business. @jeffreyqaiyum

Postell Pringle – Creative Associate, Director of Choreography
Postell Pringle is a native of Decatur, Georgia. He’s a playwright, music artist/producer, beatmaker and director/choreographer. Regarding Q Brothers shows, Pos has been ‘round from the get-go. As a creator, co-writer/composer: Long Way Home (w/ Chicago Children’s Choir), Q Brothers Christmas Carol, ms. estrada, Rome Sweet Rome, Rami & Jaliya (working title). He teamed with fellow QBC member Jackson Doran (JAX & POS) to create The Illyria Project, a musical adaptation of Twelfth Night for Theater Latte Da’s NEXT Festival. Pos appeared on Broadway in A Free Man of Color by John Guare, directed by George C. Wolfe (Lincoln Center). Off B’way: The Misanthrope, pen/man/ship, Tartuffe (Moliere In The Park), The Urban Retreat (Public Theater); The Seven (NYT Workshop); Romeo + Juliet (Lucille Lortel); Hoodoo Love (Cherry Lane), Song for New York (Mabou Mines) directed by the late/great Ruth Maleczech. Other shows: pen/man/ship [virtual] (MIP), Our Daughters, Like Pillars (Huntington), The Matchmaker (Goodman), Broke-ology (KC Rep); The Seven (La Jolla Playhouse), A Soldier’s Play (AR Rep). Film & TV: 30 Miles From Nowhere, The Hudson Tribes, Unknown Soldier and Orange Bow. Unforgettable, the Law & Order franchise and a recurring role on Denis Leary’s Rescue Me. As a VO artist Pos has played numerous Gen Z podcasts roles and Rockstar Games’ GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption 2 & GTA: The Lost and Damned. Pos is the co-lyricist for the musical STEP KIDS, alongside Tyrone L. Robinson. As a music artist and producer he’s dropped myriad LP’s and mixtapes, proudly including his 2020 release Hot Sauce From Hell (posluv.com, Spotify). Pos is a member of The Rap Pack. Jackson Doran – Creative Associate, Director of Education
Jackson Doran is an actor, writer, and arts educator. He has spent the last ten years as an Education Director and Artistic Associate of The Q Brothers Collective, making and starring in ad-rap-tations of classic plays and pieces of literature. Highlights include “ms. estrada” with The Flea in New York, “Long Way Home”.With the Chicago Children’s Choir, a seven year sit down run at the Tony Award winning Chicago Shakespeare Theater with, “Q Brothers Christmas Carol.” He has also toured the world for the past nine years performing in The Q Brothers’ “Othello: The Remix.” Originally commissioned and premiering at The Globe Theatre in 2012, “Othello: The Remix” has travelled to Poland, Germany, UAE, New Zealand, Romania, and Australia with sit down runs at The Edinburgh Fringe and London’s Unicorn Theater. Other theater credits include the Kristoffer Diaz world premiere of “Welcome to Arroyo’s” at American Theater Company, a year-long internship at The Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Funk it Up About Nothin’ (World Tour), playwriting commissions at Steppenwolf, Writer’s Theater, The City of Chicago, and adjunct professorships at Northwestern University, The University of Iowa, UIC, and Connecticut College. Clayton Stamper – Company Member
Clay is a performer, MC, DJ, and content creator. His Company Hiphophouseparty.com hosts hip-hop workshops at major music festivals nationwide including Lollapalooza and Austin city limits. Currently he spends his time moving units; Housing units as Clay-the Realtor (claystamper.com). Recent projects include “In The House” a web series highlighting historical architecture in Chicagoland. Clay’s greatest achievement is as full time father and a loving husband. Career highlights with the collective include being the first DJ to spin Hip-Hop on stage at the Globe theatre in London, Multiple world tours, and appearing on the Qbrothers latest album Buggin!! Passions include Having some fun! doing BIG things and gettin em done!!! Big Love

Greta Honold – Producing Company Manager
Greta Honold is a Chicago-based marketer, event and theater producer. As a theater producer Greta was an Artistic Producer at Steppenwolf Theater Company, where she launched and curated their multi-genre LookOut Series. She has worked behind the scenes at a number of Chicago theaters including Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Court Theatre, Second City, About Face Theatre and Dog & Pony. She currently runs Marketing efforts for e-commerce site Smallflower.com and their brick and mortar Merz Apothecary in Chicago. Greta is a graduate of the School at Steppenwolf, received her BA from the University of Chicago and her MFA in Arts Leadership from the Theatre School at DePaul University, in conjunction with Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
